6 Pakistanis among 8 peacekeepers killed in Congo helicopter crash

A helicopter crashed in the chaotic eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) on Tuesday, killing eight UN soldiers — six Pakistanis, a Russian, and a Serb, according to the UN and Pakistan."  Puma Helicopter crashed while on a covert mission in Congo."  "The accurate cause of the crash is still to be determined," the Pakistani military's media wing said. 5 People Killed In Gun Violence In Israel

The gunman killed at least five people in Bnei Brak city before being shot and killed.  According to local media, the incident took place on Tuesday in Bnei Brak, an ultra-Orthodox suburb of the Israeli city of Tel Aviv. "Sadly, we must release information that five people have died," said Magen David Adom, the head of the emergency services. According to a ZAKA rescue service spokesperson, one more person suffered serious injuries. Police said that a man with an assault rifle opened fire on people in Bnei Brak, east of Tel Aviv, at two different locations. When the cops arrived, they shot him dead.  To stem the tide of violence, Israel's Prime Minister, Naftali Bennett, has convened an emergency meeting of top security officials. Nearly a dozen Israelis were killed during the week of violent attacks in Israel.   As per Israeli media outlets, most of the attacks were staged by ISIS elements.  

Russia consented to downsize operations near Kyiv and northern Ukraine

Russia on Tuesday promised to reduce military operations around Kyiv and northern Ukraine.  Prior to the talks, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that his country was ready to declare neutrality, as Moscow has demanded, and was willing to compromise on the contested eastern region of Donbas. Ukrainian negotiating team said that under their proposals, Kyiv would agree not to join alliances or host foreign soldiers.  However, it seeks security guarantees from its allies. "A decision was made to sharply reduce military activity in the Kyiv and Chernihiv directions by a large margin in order to increase trust and understanding and build the right conditions for further negotiations and achieving the ultimate objectives of agreeing and signing an agreement," Russian Deputy Defence Minister Alexander Fomin told Reuters.

The OPEC-Russia oil output agreement is still in effect

The deal between the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and Russia has been confirmed by the UAE's energy minister.  The war in Ukraine, according to Energy Minister Suhail al-Mazrouei, should have no bearing on the oil companies' strategy. "Anything we do as a state, we always feel that when it comes to production and this effort, it needs to stay out of politics," Mazrouei said at the Atlantic Council's energy event in Dubai.

A new round of Ukraine-Russia talks will start in Istanbul

A new round of Russian-Ukrainian talks will start on Tuesday in  Turkey's  city  Istanbul . Two delegations from Moscow and Kyiv will take part in peace talks to discuss various issues in order to reach an agreement on a ceasefire in Ukraine. After three rounds of talks in Belarus and a meeting in Turkey between the two countries' foreign ministers,  Sergey Lavrov  Lavrov and Dmitry Kuleba, Russia and Ukraine agreed on Sunday to hold a new round of talks on Tuesday and  Wednesday.

Massive Petroleum Depot Nearby Klevan Town "knocked down": Russian Military

The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Monday that high-precision winged air missiles had destroyed a large fuel base in Klevan, Ukraine's Rivne province.  Rivne Oblast is a Ukrainian autonomous region (province). Rivne is its administrative center. According to the Ministry, fuel was being supplied to Ukrainian equipment on the outskirts of Kyiv from this plant.  As per the document, the Russian anti-aircraft forces shot down three Ukrainian drones during the night, and tactical planes destroyed 68 Ukrainian military installations, including three command posts and four anti-missile defense systems, including three Beech M1 models "and one OSA model, one radio station, five rocket launchers, two ammunition depots, three fuel and lubricant depots, 19 military equipment and fortification posts.  Since the start of Russian special operations in Ukraine, there have been 123 aircraft, 74 helicopters, 311 drones, 1,738 tanks, and other armored vehicles, 181 rocket launchers, 726

Gunmen stormed illegal cockfighting site in Mexico, killing 20 spectators

The incident occurred in Las Tinajas, a rural town in Zinapécuaro Police in Mexico revealed that a group of militants assaulted an illegal cockfighting site in a tiny village in western Michoacan, killing 20 people.  Police and bystanders detailed a horrifying carnage in which assailants dressed in military clothes arrived shortly after 10.20 p.m. on Sunday and started firing with assault rifles on crowds of mostly middle-aged males.  The highway leading to the cockfighting arena was blocked by two small trucks.  Mexican police said they discovered 19 bodies, 16 men and 3 women, according to local media.  Another victim died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. There are about 100 7.62 caliber rifle bullets on the ground. Police also impounded 15 vehicles that were present at the accident scene.

Pakistan: At least 10 Dead As Hiace Falls Into Ravine

On Monday, a high-ace crashed into a ditch in the Upper Dir district of Kyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), killing at least 10 people and injuring 16 others.  Reports said that 4 injured are in critical condition. The wounded were transferred to the district hospital from Dir. According to hospital administrators, three women and two children were among the dead. According to the police, the Van was heading towards Kolkata from Mardani when the accident happened in Barak Jalal.  KPK C.M.  Mahmoud Khan offered his sympathies for the incident and for the families who have lost dear ones.  He directed the hospital's executives to provide the best medical care available to the victims.

In an interview with Serbian media, Lavrov emphasized that sanctions against Russia were imposed by the West in response to the failure of his plans in Ukraine. "The West cannot isolate us, as we have many partners such as China, India, Middle Eastern, and African countries," Lavrov further added in a statement.

Two police officers killed by gunmen in Israel

On Sunday, two Arab gunmen killed two policemen on a lane avenue in a town in Israel before being shot dead as the US secretary of state and three Arab foreign ministers arrived for a summit.  Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack in a message posted on its Telegram channel.  According to Israeli security officials, the two attackers in Hadera, a town about 50 kilometers north of Tel Aviv, were Israeli Arab citizens and sympathizers of ISIS "We condemn today's terrorist attack in Hadera, Israel," tweeted US Secretary of State Antony Blinken. "We are with our Israeli partners and offer our condolences to the families of the victims," ​​ Antony Blinken  added further. The attack came five days after an Arab from southern Israel killed at least four Israelis with a knife and crashed into a vehicle in Beersheba.   The authorities did not immediately reveal any additional information on the deceased or assailants.

The Western economic war with Russia will devastate the global economy's structure

Rockslide Kills 5 In Northern Oman

Five workers were killed and five others were rescued after a granite collapsed on workers in Oman's Zahir Province on Saturday, according to the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority. A search-and-rescue operation is currently underway, According to CGTN. 

Pakistani Military Eliminated 6 Terrorists Near Baluchistan's Sibi District

 The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that security forces killed six Baloch Nationalist Army (BNA) militants who were involved in the Anarkali blast in Lahore. In January, a blast near Lahore's Anarkali Bazaar killed at least three people, one of them was a kid, and injured more than 25 others. The explosion shattered the windows of adjacent shops and buildings, as well as damaging motorcycles parked near the incident site. The terrorists were tracked down after information about their location in the Nagao Mountains near Sibbi, Balochistan, according to the military's media wing.

Russia takes control of Ukrainian command center, dozens of Ukrainian soldiers surrender

On Saturday, the Russian military announced that it had taken control of the underground citadel of the Ukrainian military command center in the city of Nikolaevka on the outskirts of Kyiv.  According to RT, the Russian military in a statement that 61 Ukrainian soldiers, half of whom were senior officers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, had voluntarily surrendered from the controlled center.  Due to severe shortages of equipment, ammunition, and food, the Ukrainian military has collectively abandoned its combat activities.  All military personnel who surrendered were reportedly evacuated from the area and provided with basic  facilities . 

The Russian military has taken control of more Ukrainian towns

Sindh's TTP chief, Abdul Wahab Lark killed in Afghanistan

Abdul Wahab Lark, a Pakistani-wanted terrorist, was killed in Kandahar.  The terrorist intended to plan suicide attacks in Urban and rural Sindh. Pakistan's most wanted terrorist was gunned down in Kandahar on Tuesday.  According to media reports,  Wahab Lark was killed by an unidentified man on 22 March 2022 in Afghanistan's  Kandahar.  Lark was also involved in the planning of attacks on army aviation bases, PAF base Samungli, minority sect target killings, and multiple attacks in North Waziristan.  Terrorist Abdul Wahab defected from Lashkar-e-Jhangvi to the banned TTP in August 2020. Abdul Wahab was named in the Red Book, the CTD's list of the most wanted terrorists in Sindh. On January 30, 2015, terrorist Abdul Wahab carried out the attack at Imambargah Shikarpur.  In the attack, about 70  worshipers were martyred and 57 were injured.

Several Pakistani soldiers Martyred in militant attack

As per ISPR, at least 4 Pakistani soldiers were martyred in a terrorist attack in northwestern Pakistan near the Afghan border early Thursday.  The militants attempted to enter Pakistan from Afghanistan in the Hassan Khel area of North Waziristan district, but Pakistani troops responded and foiled the attempt, according to the army. "Four soldiers were killed following a severe exchange of fire with the insurgents," ISPR said in a statement on Thursday.  The attack was claimed by the TTP (Taliban-e-Taliban Pakistan).  The military media wing did not immediately release any additional information about the martyred military personnel, such as names and designations.

Road Mishap Kills 8 In Afghanistan's Nangarhar province

The head of the provincial traffic police confirmed on Tuesday that eight people were killed and two others were injured in a Datsun pickup  and car collision in Afghanistan's eastern Nangarhar province.  The two vehicles collided on the ring road in the provincial capital of Jalalabad on Monday evening, police said.   Jalalabad is Afghanistan's fifth-largest city.  According to the official, the victims included four women, a child, and three men, including the drivers of the vehicles.  Traffic accidents are common in a mountainous country, and they are caused by reckless driving or poor roads and vehicle maintenance . Prisoner Swap Between Russia & Ukraine Announced By Russia

The first prisoner swap between Russia and Ukraine has been announced by Russia During their intense conflict, Russia and Ukraine are said to have swapped the first prisoners of war (POWs).  Tatyana Moskalkova, Russia's Human Rights Commissioner, told RT that nine Russian servicemen were exchanged for Ivan Fedorov, Mayor of the Ukrainian town of Melitopol.  Fedorov was reportedly apprehended on March 11 by Russian soldiers stationed in Melitopol, a city located halfway between Mariupol and Kherson.  Last Wednesday, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke with Fedorov on the phone.  Russia has continued its special military operation in Ukraine, which began on February 24 to defend the Donbas people. 

Madeleine Albright, Former US Secretary of State, Died at 84

  Madeleine Albright, America's first female Secretary of State, died of cancer on Wednesday, according to her family.  From 1997 until 2001, Albright acted as the United States' senior diplomat during the Bill Clinton presidency.  Madeleine Albright, the Czech immigrant who became America's first female secretary of state, died at the age of 84.  Albright, a long-serving foreign policy veteran, was appointed as America's top diplomat during the Clinton administration in 1997.  Albright was hailed as a "champion of democracy" for her role in efforts to put an end to ethnic cleansing in Kosovo.  A State Department spokesman confirmed her painful death.
