An Indian government official said that the Ladakh, separate Administrative and Revenue division has been approved in Jammu & Kashmir state. The state of Jammu and Kashmir had two divisions Jammu and Kashmir earlier, but now it has been divided into three divisions Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh. Ladakh will have a separate commissioner, police inspector general (IG), and constitution committee.
