BRAZIL , BrasÃlia — Local officials in Brazil informed the mainstream media that a bus crashed into a ravine in Brazil's state of Alagoas on Sunday, killing 23 Passengers. Rescue members confirmed that 22 people were pronounced dead shortly after the incident, and one passenger died after being taken to the hospital, according to the Alagoas state government. With 40 passengers on board, the bus plunged into the gorge near Uniao dos Palmares. State Governor Paulo Dantas announced three days of mourning for "a terrible incident."
