September, 19 - (The Global News Desk 115) -  A blast at a mosque in Kohat's Police Lines during Friday prayers martyred approximately 21 people, including 15 policemen and 6 civilians.  KPK Police said that six of the attackers were also killed in both the explosion and the shootout that took place afterward. The initial incident report submitted by the DHQ Hospital Kohat medical superintendent and district health officer revealed that the deadly blast caused more than 100 casualties among the worshippers.  The local authorities claimed that a blast detonated at about 1:30 pm during Friday prayers at a mosque at Police Lines on Hangu Road in Kohat, backed by a terrorist attack carried out by at least five to seven armed men. July 31 - (The Global News Desk 115) - Baluchistan government said that a coal mine explosion in Baluchistan province has buried at least 34 miners alive, while hopes of rescuing any survivors are diminishing. The massive explosion rattled a coal mine in the Sorange region on Thursday, a ⁠ remote area near Quetta. Early Friday, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority reported, "We have retrieved 31 bodies to date. Our rescuers have identified three additional bodies within the mine and are working to retrieve them." He said that, more than 12 hours after the accident, workers for the authority and other rescue workers are still looking for the trapped miners, but it's very unlikely that they will find any survivors. Insurgents launched the series of attacks in the Hangu region of northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Tuesday, near the Afghanistan border, the provincial police headquarters said.  Authorities reported on Thursday that around 11 police officers were killed and 28 others were injured in the recent ambush at a security checkpoint in northern Pakistan.  The attack was allegedly carried out by the proscribed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), according to the KPK police. A gas cylinder explosion in Saudi Arabia's capital, Riyadh, killed five Pakistani workers on Wednesday, according to the Kingdom's police. The explosion happened in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, in the Manfouha district.  All five of the victims were from the Mansehra region of KPK, according to a preliminary report. According to the investigation, Muhammad Saeed, Abid Hussain, Abdul Rehman, Muhammad Safeer, and Muhammad Rustam were the victims. Before this visit, General Metin Tokel, who leads the Turkish Land Forces, met Field Marshal Munir in Pakistan a few weeks earlier. The Pakistani military's media wing said in a report that 38 law enforcement officials were killed in a recent sequence of severe terrorist strikes in Balochistan.  The ISPR Director-General announced on Wednesday that 42 people, including 38 security forces, were slain in barbaric attacks by extremists sponsored by India.  Since the early days of July, Balochistan has been the site of numerous fatal violent incidents directed at both security personnel and civilians.  A violent attack on a Ziarat checkpoint on July 6 led to the tragic deaths of nine police officers, which opened the door to further bloodshed. As a consequence of the Ziarat operation, 18 more police officers were killed during the ongoing clearing efforts. The DG ISPR confirmed that security forces successfully wiped out 54 terrorists in response to aggressive activities.

Islamabad, Pakistan  —  The government of Balochistan reported on Tuesday that a shootout in the province of Balochistan brought about the deaths of at least nine police personnel and fifteen terrorists.
