July 31 - (The Global News Desk 115) - Baluchistan government said that a coal mine explosion in Baluchistan province has buried at least 34 miners alive, while hopes of rescuing any survivors are diminishing. The massive explosion rattled a coal mine in the Sorange region on Thursday, a ⁠ remote area near Quetta. Early Friday, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority reported, "We have retrieved 31 bodies to date. Our rescuers have identified three additional bodies within the mine and are working to retrieve them." A gas cylinder explosion in Saudi Arabia's capital, Riyadh, killed five Pakistani workers on Wednesday, according to the Kingdom's police. The explosion happened in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, in the Manfouha district.  All five of the victims were from the Mansehra region of KPK, according to a preliminary report. According to the investigation, Muhammad Saeed, Abid Hussain, Abdul Rehman, Muhammad Safeer, and Muhammad Rustam were the victims. The Pakistani military's media wing said in a report that 38 law enforcement officials were killed in a recent sequence of severe terrorist strikes in Balochistan.  The ISPR Director-General announced on Wednesday that 42 people, including 38 security forces, were slain in barbaric attacks by extremists sponsored by India.  Since the early days of July, Balochistan has been the site of numerous fatal violent incidents directed at both security personnel and civilians.  A violent attack on a Ziarat checkpoint on July 6 led to the tragic deaths of nine police officers, which opened the door to further bloodshed. As a consequence of the Ziarat operation, 18 more police officers were killed during the ongoing clearing efforts. The DG ISPR confirmed that security forces successfully wiped out 54 terrorists in response to aggressive activities.

The bus fell into a deep ravine following a brake failure caused by excessive speed in the Dana Sar area of the Sherani region, located in the Zhob district. The KPK Government said on Wednesday that seven drowned after a tourist boat capsized in Saifullah Lake in Swat, with two others saved. The Swat rescue team reported that seven bodies were extracted from the lake after the incident and subsequently conveyed to Kalam Hospital by ambulance. DC had reported earlier that five people were found dead, and a search and rescue operation was in progress to find four visitors who were missing. Punjab government authorities said at a press briefing that a tuition center's ceiling collapsed in Lahore's Kahna district on Tuesday, killing at least 14 children and injuring many others.    Post-incident, 19 children were transported to Kahna Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, according to the Punjab Health Minister. The ministry confirmed that the roof fall resulted in the deaths of 14 pupils.
