Afghan Brigade commander Killed In Blast

KABUL, Afghanistan — Head of the Afghan border security forces Commander Brigadier general Zahirgul Muqbil had been killed, three other military officers and a local journalist were wounded when their military vehicle went up in the air and engulfed in flames after hitting the roadside bomb. An improvised explosive device most likely was planted by the Taliban Jihadists in Helmand Province. High-level authorities of Helmand province announced that violence began in the Marjah district of Helmand province on Saturday morning when the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (Humvee) trapped in the indigenous roadside bomb while it was patrolling the Afghanistan border in order to launch crackdown on miscreants. Helmand, also known as Hillman located in the south of Afghanistan. It is the largest province of Afghanistan by area, covering 58,584 square kilometers area. Source: Tolo News Agency  

Afghanistan: 15 Civilians Mostly Women & Children Killed In Roadside Blast In Kunduz

Kabul, Afghanistan — Mini commuter lorry heavily loaded with children and women trapped in explosive mine by misfortune. Explosive mine was largely believed to have been placed underground the road for Afghan security forces by Taliban insurgents in the northern Afghan province of Kunduz. Afghan local media reported on Wednesday that approximately 15 civilians including seven women and six children died and two more were wounded when their bus struck with a roadside mine in the Imam Sahib district of Kunduz province of Afghanistan. The initial investigation report surfaced by the Afghan interior ministry said that victims of accidents were traveling to attend the marriage ceremony when their bus met terrible misfortune. 15 dead bodies and 2 civilians with shrapnel injuries were transferred to a district civil hospital by the rescuers.              

Scores Killed & Wounded As Baghdad Rocked By Deadly Blasts

As many as 23 civilians are reported to have been killed and wounded in the latest wave of terrorism in the capital city of Iraq. A statement issued by the Interior Ministry of Iraq on Tuesday publicized that at least 6 people were killed and 17 others wounded in three blasts understood to had been carried out by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, also known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria in populated areas of Baghdad city. In the first attack, the famous market Al-Shaab was banged by explosive motorcycle blast that shook up the neighboring residents and left six people dead and nine more  wounded. In the second blast, four people sustained superficial injuries when a homemade bomb denoted in the Al-Baiyaa vicinity in southwestern Baghdad.  Al-Baladiyat neighborhood in eastern Baghdad was targeted in the third attack that left four people injured as well. 

Pakistan: 9 Marines Killed In Road Mishap

At least 9 members of the Pakistani Navy died, and 29 more were hurt after their lorry met the tragic accident at a sharp curve on Tuesday morning. The accident took place when a bus packed with 38 Pakistani Naval officers and their family members traveling from Ormara to the capital city of Sindh province Karachi flipped and plunged into a gorge, in the Buzi Top area. Ormara is a town in the Gwadar district in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. It is a port city in the Makran coastal region, located 360 kilometers west of Karachi. Government authorities of Bela Jamali told the media while briefing the accident that all rescue teams including Pakistani military leaped into action after receiving an emergency call, and transferred dead bodies and injured to PNS Darman Jah hospital after pulling them out of the vehicle's wreckage. Identities of deceased and injured individuals yet to be brought out by the local authorities.  

Israel : Hezbollah's Power Is Greater Than Organization, Equal To State

S tudying Hezbollah's military strength, Israeli media has reported that by reshaping and modernizing the military, Hezbollah has turned out to be a state power rather than a small militants organization. Taliban Knocked Down Military Check Post In Kunduz province

Kabul, Afghanistan — About 10 Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) were killed and 8 more sustained injuries when Taliban insurgents stormed and obliterated security outposts in Kunduz province on Tuesday night. While citing the news released by the local media, the ATN news agency reported that in the overnight militants attack 18 members of Afghan National Security Forces were killed and wounded in Arbab Khail village of Kunduz’s Imam Sahib District. Rejecting the local source, the Afghan military said only one of its soldiers was killed and four others wounded in brazen assault of anti-government forces. However, the death toll of the Afghan National Security Forces was confirmed by the spokesperson for the military regiment attacked in Kunduz province, he said in a gun battle with Taliban that lasted one and half an hour, 18 members of Afghan Security Forces were killed and wounded.

Chopper Crash Killed American Servicemen In Afghanistan

Kabul, Afghanistan — Chopper belonging to the United States Air Force crashed in Afghanistan when it plummeted down into the mountain gully, Killing at least two onboard in the eastern Logar province of Afghanistan. The preliminary investigation report said the helicopter was not targeted by enemy forces. It is largely believed that the incident happened due to engine Malfunction. However, Taliban militants have taken responsibility for the attack without surfacing any detail. Including this accident, US soldiers' death toll in Afghanistan has reached 22, in the calendar year.

Afghanistan: Over A Dozen Taliban Jihadists Killed In Kunduz Province

Kabul, Afghanistan  —  At least 14 Taliban militants were killed after Afghan Air Force pounded their positions in Kunduz Province. Predawn aerial assault was executed by the Afghan Air Force (AAF) in the Archi district of Kunduz Province of Afganistan, located in the northern part of the country next to Tajikistan. Moreover, in the airstrikes division governor of the Taliban was also killed, Afghan Government authorities said on Monday. However, casualties yet to be confirmed by the government opposition forces.

Afghanistan: Over 600 Members Of Daesh (Terrorist Organization) Capitulate To ANDSF

Kabul, Afghanistan  —   A bout 615 members of  Desh (Terrorist Organization) have yielded to the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF)  in the eastern part of the country. A statement issued by the Afghan Ministry of Defense on Saturday said that 18 perpetrators including women and children affiliated with Islamic State organizations surrendered to the Afghan government forces after conceding defeat in the Achin district of eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan, on Friday. The statement added that Islamic State presence is depleting fast in the country due to the government forces mounting pressure and viable strategy. It further added that notwithstanding difficulties and casualties Afghan ground forces had been doing a terrific job, in order to clear the country from the offenders who commit crimes that blight law-abiding citizens. Insurgents Killed & Apprehended In Afghanistan

Egyptian Military Claims To Have Wiped out Large Column Of Terrorists

C AIRO, Egypt — Referring to the military press release, Egyptian media outlets reported that at least 83 insurgents had been neutralized, since last month. Over A Dozen Killed & Wounded In Surprise Attack Of Taliban

Kabul, Afghanistan —  Approximately 10 people were killed, and 13 more wounded when Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) convoy came under insurgents attack on Saturday, near the Nusay District of Badakhshan province. According to the government source Taliban insurgents carried out the lethal ambush against the ground forces of Afghanistan in  the rural area of Badakhshan Province, bordering Tajikistan. Tajikistan is a mountainous country in Central Asia surrounded by Afghanistan, China, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan. Citing the Afghan Police source Anadolu news agency reported that during the brief gun battle with Taliban insurgents, 5 members of Afghan security forces died and seven others were hurt, while 5 Jihadists were killed and six more injured due to strong retaliation. Taliban Mujahideen took responsibility for the deadly attack.

Deadly Road Mishap Claimed Several Lives In Northeast Part Of Afghanistan

An  accident involving a commuter bus and a car, transporting passengers has left scores dead and wounded in the Northeast part of Afghanistan. An incident occurred on the superhighway after a luxurious bus went out of the control at the sharp curve and smashed into a car on Saturday dawn. The road mishap took place in the Kalafgan district of Takhar province on the National superhighway that connects to Takhar and Badakhshan provinces local authorities said. The rescue team said that they found 3 people without a pulse, and 30 more wounded from the accident site. Deceased and injured were transported to the local government hospitals for postmortem and ministration, one of the rescue members said.

19 Iranian Are Released By Saudi Arabia

The Iranian high-level authorities have confirmed the freedom of 19 fishermen, detained by Saudi coastguard, about 11 months ago after their vessel entered the Kingdom's water. Iranian Foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif thanked Saudi Arabian counterpart on Thursday. He said matter of piscators' freedom was argued out prudently with Saudi Arabia, which led to their freedom.
