Afghanistan: Over 600 Members Of Daesh (Terrorist Organization) Capitulate To ANDSF

Kabul, Afghanistan — About 615 members of Desh (Terrorist Organization) have yielded to the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) in the eastern part of the country. A statement issued by the Afghan Ministry of Defense on Saturday said that 18 perpetrators including women and children affiliated with Islamic State organizations surrendered to the Afghan government forces after conceding defeat in the Achin district of eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan, on Friday. The statement added that Islamic State presence is depleting fast in the country due to the government forces mounting pressure and viable strategy. It further added that notwithstanding difficulties and casualties Afghan ground forces had been doing a terrific job, in order to clear the country from the offenders who commit crimes that blight law-abiding citizens. Since the beginning of the month, at least 615 Daesh insurgents capitulated to the Afghan military forces in Nangarhar province located in the eastern part of the country.

Córdoba, Spain - At least 39 passengers were killed when two trains crashed in Córdoba at around 19:45 on Sunday. Córdoba is a city in Andalusia, a southern region of Spain, and it is the provincial capital. According to official reports, out of 122 people who received medical care for their injuries, 48, including five children, are still in the hospital. Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has announced three days of mourning and vowed to conduct a "thorough and absolutely transparent" investigation into the incident. Israel Martyrs 70 Palestinians In Gaza In 24 hours

The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza says that Israeli forces have martyred 70 Palestinians in just the past day. Since Israel's war on Gaza began on October 7, 2023, the Gaza Health Ministry reported 61,897 deaths and 155,660 injuries. Seventy Palestinians were sent to hospitals during the past day, including eight who were rescued from under the debris or elsewhere, according to Al Jazeera . At least 26 people sadly died while trying to get aid , and another 175 were injured. While trying to get food, at least 1,924 Palestinians have been confirmed martyred, and 14,288 have been injured. Since March 18, Israel has broken the previous ceasefire , completely blocked aid, and launched devastating airstrikes, resulting in at least 10,362 Palestinian deaths and 43,619 injuries, according to the ministry.
