Iraq — 46 Dead & Wounded, As Car Bomb Attack Rocks Market Near Mosul

ZAINA FATIMA  Iraq, MOSUL —    About 46  people were killed and wounded, when a laden vehicle full of explosives hit the market area in the town of Al Qayyarah Tuesday. The Al   Qayyarah town Medical staff have confirmed the incident saying, 6 people, were killed and 40 others were wounded in a devastating car bombing on Tuesday morning. An accident took place in Al Qayyarah town, 60 kilometers south of Mosul. The victory against ISIS was declared year ago, but some remaining elements are spreading chaos and havoc to penetrate security forces and civilians in order to expand control in the strategic  constituency.   

Large Casualties Reported As US - Lead Coalition Targeted Civilians Apartments In Deir Ez-Zor

Syria, Damascus  — At least 62 civilians have been killed in the US Lead Coalition bombardment in Deir Ez-Zor province  Syrian Arab News  Agency  reported. It added that civilians apartments were targeted by the US - Lead Coalition airstrikes in Susah and Al Bubadran villages of Deir Ez-Zor province. Airstrikes left 62 people dead and over a hundred others wounded, Syrian state broadcaster SANA said on Saturday, but it did not specify the exact date of airstrikes carried out by the US - Lead Coalition.     

Afghanistan — 20 Killed, Over Dozen Injured, In Road Mishap In Kabul

S.Hussain.Abbasi   Afghanistan, KABUL  —  As many as 36 people had been killed and wounded in a road accident in Kabul, an eyewitness said Thursday. On Friday, government officials confirmed the accident, saying it happened on the super highway which connects Kabul with Kapisa province. Accident occurred when a bus filled with wedding guests was on the way to northeastern Kapisa province. According to the Afghan government officials,  the devastating  accident happened when the bus driver apparently lost control of the vehicle and  rammed it into another vehicle. As a result of that 20 people were killed and sixteen others were wounded. Injured were taken to the Qarabagh district hospital for medical  assistance.

Afghanistan — Pro Russian, Pashtun Parliament Candidate Killed By Taliban At Office

ZAINA FATIMA  Afghanistan, KABUL  —   A time bomb placed in sofa went off during the speech of infamous communist Politician  Abdul Jabar Qahraman  at his election campaign headquarter,  in Afghanistan's Helmand province. The spokesman for the governor of Helmand province said that incident took place in Lashkargah city,  in which Abdul Jabar Qahraman and his three aides were killed on Wednesday. The Taliban has claimed responsibility for the incident. He served as a  Major General in the Afghan Army (1982-1992),    during the Soviet-Afghan War in the 1980s .  His command was the last stronghold of the Russian-backed Communist government in southern  Afghanistan.  He also served as a  Wolesi Jirga Member in 2010, MP & MNA  of Helmand Province. He was also appointed as security  adviser to Afghan President Ashraf Ghani in 2016 .

Afghan Police Suffers Huge Casualties In Fresh Assaults Of Taliban

ZAINA FATIMA Afghanistan, KABUL — A Large number of Afghan police officers including a head of provincial police have been killed in central Afghanistan in Taliban attacks. Afghan officials said on Tuesday that horrifying fighting occurred between Taliban and Afghan police on Monday night, in the Darah Sof Payan district, of northern Samangan Province, which claimed 11 lives of policemen including a provincial police chief   General Khawani Tahari  & dozens of others were wounded. In a successful series of attacks, 15 policemen were also abducted by the militants after the conclusion of fighting in the Zerki Village  of Darah Sof Payan district of the  Samangan  province . Taliban confiscated huge ammo Cache, light and heavy weapons including military vehicles government sources added. In ruthless fighting, 14 Taliban militants were also killed and 16 were wounded.

Several Daesh Militants Killed, In Afghan Forces Separate Airstrikes

ZAINA FATIMA  Afghanistan, KABUL — As much as 7 members of the Islamic state have been killed following the intense airstrikes carried out by the Afghan Air Forces in eastern Afghan yesterday. On Monday, the Afghanistan Ministry of Defence informed the media that airstrikes were launched in the Pachir Wa Agam district of Nangarhar province and Dara-i-Pech of Kunar province in which bastions of Daesh militants were targeted, as a result of that 7 members of the Islamic state were killed and an unknown number of militants were wounded.

Taliban Assault: Left 15 Policemen Dead In Northern Afghanistan

Zaina Fatima  Afghanistan, KABUL  —  Government officials of Kunduz province have announced the death of 15 Police officers today .  Taliban went on a rampage and wrought havoc  in the Qala-i-Zal district of northern Kunduz province. One of the top Afghan police officers said that incident took place when the Taliban stormed check-posts on Wednesday evening. He further added during the brief gunbattle 7 Taliban and 28  Police officers were killed and wounded.

Independence Problem Of Catalonia

The Catalan independence movement date back from 1922 when Francesc MaciĆ  established the political party Catalan State. He was the 122nd President of Catalonia and formerly an officer in the Spanish Army. In 1931, all parties including the Second Spanish Republic agreed to its autonomy within the Spanish state.
