Afghanistan, KABUL — As many as 36 people had been killed and wounded in a road accident in Kabul, an eyewitness said Thursday. On Friday, government officials confirmed the accident, saying it happened on the super highway which connects Kabul with Kapisa province. Accident occurred when a bus filled with wedding guests was on the way to northeastern Kapisa province. According to the Afghan government officials, the devastating accident happened when the bus driver apparently lost control of the vehicle and rammed it into another vehicle. As a result of that 20 people were killed and sixteen others were wounded. Injured were taken to the Qarabagh district hospital for medical assistance.
