Written By Shujaat Hussain Abbasi KIRKUK , Iraq - In Chain of successful anti terrorists operations in Hawija district , located in the oil rich province of Kirkuk , Iraqi army manged to kill over 200 terrorists and took back 70 square km from the Islamic state militants on the first day of second phase of Hawija offensive , Federal police chief  Lt. Gen. Shaker Jawdat reported on Friday . He further added because of steadfastness of Iraqi military and popular forces during the anti terrorists operation 23 villages were recaptured from the terrorists . Military sources said earlier on Friday that in the process of liberation of vast area in Hawija district more than 45 armored vehicles and several explosive devises were destroyed in aerial and ground assault executed by the Iraqi army and its paramilitary forces . In the first phase of Hawija operation Iraqi military killed  around 600 IS Terrorists and liberated 103 Villages .

Turkish military sources added during the anti terrorist operation  between 21 September to  27 September , 4 Turkish soldiers were also  killed and 27 were wounded due to tough resistance . The Turkish General Staff said that during the counter terrorism operation sizeable ammunition was recovered from the terrorists . He further added that operation was launched in Yuksekova district of Hakkari province, the Silopi and Beytussebap districts of Sirnak province, the Midyat and Nusaybin districts of Mardin province, the Baykan district of Siirt province and the Lice district of Diyarbakir province in which 63 Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants were killed and scores  wounded.

The senior police officer of Kandhar province told the Afghanistan Times news agency that accident took place when anti government elements struck explosive vehicle with military complex in Marouf district of Kandahar province located in the southern part of the Afghanistan , last night at 7 PM , as a result of that 16 Afghan National guards were killed and wounded . Taliban spokesman Qari Yusouf Ahmadi said that after the successful attack their jehadists captured the military compound . While dismissing  the Taliban claims Senior police officer of Kandhar province has said that district military compound is still in government control .

The statement released by the Iraqi military media cell on Wednesday , said that at least 557 Islamic state militants were killed and 103 villages liberated from ISIS in the first phase of military operation . It further added during the military operation over 40 laden explosive vehicles , 24 armored vehicles carrying terrorists were destroyed . Same source added that 381 improvised explosive devices planted by the Islamic State terrorists in different areas of Hawija were defused . The military operation for the liberation of Hawija district was announced by the Iraqi P.M Haider Jawad Kadhim Al-Abadi on 21 September 2017 , within short period of time Iraqi military in collaboration with paramilitary forces

Senior military officer told the SANA news agency that 7 villages have been liberated from Islamic State in the eastern side of Homs province . He added during the military operation villages of Um al-Sous, al-Kharafish, Rasm al-Arnab, al-Ghzeileh, al-Rak, Um Hweish and Safiyeh were liberated after the violent battle , in which several enemies targets were annihilated . In related progress , Syrian Arab Army killed score terrorists and obliterated their strongholds in Hatla, al-Husseiniyia and Hwaijet Saqr, and the neighborhoods of al-Hwaiqa, Kanamat, Khasarat, al-Rushdiyia, al-Ardi and al-Orfi territories of Deir Ezzor province .

Israeli military sources said the attacker was also killed after the incident . Sources further added that after the 3 days of ferocious battle Janikhail district of  Paktia province fell into the hands of the Taliban . The senior police officer of Paktia province said Taliban militants have captured the control of large part of the district. Afghan military sources informed the Tolo News agency that several checkpoints are still in our control, during the 3 days of consecutive battle 11 militants were killed and several others were wounded. Two days ago, following the fierce battle, Taliban militants took back the control of the Kohistan district of northern Faryab province and Taiwara district of western Ghor province.

It further reported incident took place when coalition warplanes launched an airstrikes on residential apartments in the Kushar district of the Northwestern province of Hajjah , as a result of that 9 people including 4 women and 5 children were killed on Wednesday . Saudi Arabia has been invading Yemen since March 2015 to reinstall fugitive president Mansour Hadi in power , a close ally of Riyadh . The Saudi-led aggression has so far killed at least 34,100 Yemenis , including hundreds of women and children .

During the briefing  Colonel Tamer el-Rifai further  added that incident took place after bomber tried to infiltrate outpost outside the town of Rafah, near Egypt's border with the Gaza strip .
