The 24-bed bus deviated and crashed   into a roadside barrier  at around 2:30 a.m., according to local police, while traveling through Hung Thinh Commune, more than 18 miles from Bien Hoa City, the capital of Dong Nai. 7 people were killed and 5 injured when a sleeper bus caught fire early on Monday morning while traveling through Dong Nai City on National Highway 1. The entire vehicle was rapidly consumed by an inferno that burst from below the bus. Thanh Hai, the bus driver, shouted for the passengers to flee, but the fire spread too fast for many to get out of the badly damaged bus in time. Two fire brigades and Rescue Police responded instantly, sending emergency personnel. After approximately thirty minutes, emergency workers were able to put the blaze under control. A bus crash in Uganda brought about at least 20 children's deaths and 60 injuries.  The children headed home from a school trip to Sipi Falls in Kapchorwa District, according to the preliminary inquiry. The driver apparently lost control of the bus and struck a large rock, causing it to drift off on a perilous route.  The school's owner is among those who lost their lives in the terrible accident. The bus carrying pupils from King David Junior School in Ndejje flipped over at Chekwatit hamlet in the Kawowo area around 20:00 local time (17:00 GMT), according to the government. Balaam Ateenyi Barugahara, the Minister of Local Government, wrote on X that he was shaken by the horrific tragedy and mourned for the victims of the school bus.

A gas cylinder explosion in Saudi Arabia's capital, Riyadh, killed five Pakistani workers on Wednesday, according to the Kingdom's police. The explosion happened in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, in the Manfouha district.  All five of the victims were from the Mansehra region of KPK, according to a preliminary report. According to the investigation, Muhammad Saeed, Abid Hussain, Abdul Rehman, Muhammad Safeer, and Muhammad Rustam were the victims. The Pakistani Embassy in Riyadh announced that its officials were frequently communicating with Saudi police and other relevant authorities, expressing their deep sorrow over the loss of precious lives. July 15 - (The Global News Desk 115) — Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi announced during a meeting with President Donald Trump in Washington that US forces will depart from Iraq by September 30. "We don't think we need the military there at all," Trump said in the White House. Iraqi Prime Minister Ali further said, "American forces are scheduled to depart on September 30th, after which American companies will arrive." We will not allow any group outside the state's authority to possess weapons following September 30. July 15 - (The Global News Desk 115) — At least six people were reported dead and two injured following a fire on Tuesday at an under-construction building in the center of Brussels.  Authorities confirmed that the bodies were located in an elevator at the site. The elevator in the building ceased to function after a fire destroyed lift cables. The bodies were retrieved from an elevator that was trapped in a shaft at the Oxy tower located in the city center, during an operation that lasted for several hours. Firefighters discovered that the blaze had spread to the elevator shafts, where two elevators were halted, despite the fire being put out immediately. Philippe Close, the mayor of Brussels, hailed the emergency services for their "remarkable efforts" during "especially tough circumstances." Prime Minister Bart De Wever and Belgian King Philippe arrived at the scene in the afternoon, according to the media in Belgium.

July 14 - (The Global News Desk 115) — The Disaster Management and Relief Ministry reported yesterday that floods and landslides affecting seven districts have led to at least 54 deaths and 39 injuries. Cox's Bazar had the most deaths, with 31, followed by Chittagong, 13; Bandarban, 6; Rangamati, 3; and Moulvibazar, 1. As relief and emergency response efforts continue in flood-affected areas, 38,422 people have taken refuge in 1,049 shelters. Officials said that specialized healthcare services are now accessible in 11 districts affected by flooding, which include Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Bandarban, Rangamati, Khagrachhari, Feni, Noakhali, Lakshmipur, Chandpur, Comilla, and Brahmanbaria.

July 14 - (The Global News Desk 115) — Turkish state media announced that Field Marshal Asim Munir arrived in Turkey on Monday for a two-day official visit.  It is anticipated that he will engage with Turkish military and political officials while there. Conversations with influential people in these sectors are also scheduled. According to PTV, which cited security sources, Field Marshal Munir received a warm reception upon his arrival. Before this visit, General Metin Tokel, who leads the Turkish Land Forces, met Field Marshal Munir in Pakistan a few weeks earlier. July 13 - (The Global News Desk 115) — Multiple vehicles collided with a pickup truck on a busy highway in Indonesia, transporting wedding attendees.  A collision occurred on the key island of Java, killing 13 people and wounding five others, authorities reported on Monday. The incident took place on Sunday afternoon on the northern coastal highway near the village of Kiajaran Kulonm, while wedding attendees were heading back from a wedding in the adjacent village of Parean. Authorities said the victims were in an open-air truck that slowed and stalled near a median lane opening to make a U-turn on the highway.  A wing-box truck moving in the same direction hit the truck from behind. The intense collision sent more than 12 people flying from the pickup truck onto the roadway, police said in a preliminary statement. No other information regarding the deceased was immediately released by the authorities. Dead bodies were taken to a hospital for identification.  

July 13 - (The Global News Desk 115) —  At least 29 people lost their lives, and several others were injured in a terrible fire that broke out in a Bangkok pub late on Sunday night. Several black bags to carry dead bodies were found on the ground outside the Rong Beer Na Lat Phrao restaurant and bar early on Monday, according to representatives from international media agencies.  A large number of emergency service personnel were also present at the scene. The fire quickly engulfed the bar, extending to the ceiling. Smoke was probably the main reason for the 29 fatalities and 60  injuries.  Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the former emir of Qatar, passed away at the age of 74, according to Qatar's state-run television. July 12 - (The Global News Desk 115) —  Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Qatar's previous emir, died on Sunday morning at the age of 74, according to a statement issued by the Amiri Diwan posted on the US social media site X. "May God extend His mercy and forgiveness to him," the message said. A total of 856 buildings suffered significant damage, and 190 buildings were entirely destroyed. Approximately 6,462 individuals have been saved during relief operations, while 29,966 others received treatment in hospitals and healthcare facilities. On the evening of June 24, a strong earthquake ripped through Venezuela.  Within 40 seconds of each other, two sets of earthquakes with magnitudes of 7.2 and 7.5 were recorded. July 10 - (The Global News Desk 115)  —  About 12 people were burned alive as a wildfire raged through the Almería region of southern Spain, coinciding with a severe heatwave that has impacted the entire country. The government announced on Friday that several of the deceased in Bedar town, which is in the Almería province, were found in their cars. As the temperature rose to 40C, more than 150 firefighters, supported by five fire vehicles, were sent to the scene. As the fire progressed, roads were closed, and locals were evacuated; around fifty people were sheltered in a cultural center. At least six victims were hurt in the incident, including a woman and men.  Witnesses informed police that the fire may have originated when a power cable collapsed, sparking dry grass and quickly spreading across the adjacent woods, but officials have not confirmed the cause.  A state-run news agency reports that a devastating fire at a shoe factory in Jinjiang, China, has claimed at least 28 workers' lives. Broadcasts and posts on social media featured videos and photos showing huge black smoke rising from a building, as well as people who appeared to be trapped on the rooftop. The Huiteng Footwear facility caught fire on Thursday afternoon around 5:00 BST. The state channel CCTV confirmed that more than 200 people have been evacuated. However, it is not known how many people have been affected by injuries. President Xi Jinping said that the fire resulted in "significant casualties," and that those guilty must be held "strictly accountable." He also expressed profound grief over the loss of precious lives.  

The Pakistani military's media wing said in a report that 38 law enforcement officials were killed in a recent sequence of severe terrorist strikes in Balochistan.  The ISPR Director-General announced on Wednesday that 42 people, including 38 security forces, were slain in barbaric attacks by extremists sponsored by India.  Since the early days of July, Balochistan has been the site of numerous fatal violent incidents directed at both security personnel and civilians.  A violent attack on a Ziarat checkpoint on July 6 led to the tragic deaths of nine police officers, which opened the door to further bloodshed. As a consequence of the Ziarat operation, 18 more police officers were killed during the ongoing clearing efforts. The DG ISPR confirmed that security forces successfully wiped out 54 terrorists in response to aggressive activities.

Islamabad, Pakistan  —  The government of Balochistan reported on Tuesday that a shootout in the province of Balochistan brought about the deaths of at least nine police personnel and fifteen terrorists. Nine police officers were killed, and many more were injured in a fierce gunfight that broke out overnight in Balochistan when a large number of terrorists stormed a police post. According to the law enforcement network, terrorist assaults on security personnel have risen in recent years.  Police said the attack occurred in a remote area of Ziarat district in Balochistan province, but provided no further details. The Balochistan government's spokesperson, Shahid Rind, said that the terrorists abducted eight police officers, all of whom were later apprehended by security forces. Violence at a prison in western Sri Lanka claimed 26 inmates' lives, including 7 guards, and left over 100 others injured Police Officials reported on Monday that the lethal prison riot claimed 26 lives, including four guards, and caused injuries to more than 100 people. As per authorities, the injured from nocturnal disputes between two drug gangs' prisoners were sent to the Negombo hospital. The hospital's chief acknowledged that more than 100 injured prisoners and guards were hospitalized, and that 26 dead bodies were taken to the government hospital. According to officials, a conflict between prisoners on Sunday night at Negombo jail, which houses about 10,000 inmates. Asif Ali Zardari, the president of Pakistan, undertook an official visit to Kyrgyzstan on July 6, according to the country's official media. The foreign office said that Zardari would attend a cultural gathering while in the country and would also meet President Sadyr Japarov to discuss potential cooperation. Eight passengers were rescued alive from the damaged bus, while 40 passengers' corpses were discovered, according to DHQ Hospital Zhob and rescue teams.    A shocking statement has emerged from an injured passenger and eyewitness regarding a bus accident in Balochistan, revealing that the bus driver threatened to take the lives of the passengers. A teenage boy struck a gathering of monks with his mini truck on Thursday while they were participating in a pilgrimage in northeastern Thailand. The expedition included 35 monks from Mukdahan province. At the scene, at least five monks were reported dead, and three additional monks later died from their injuries in a hospital, according to officials in Mukdahan.  The provincial authorities have confirmed that 13 more monks were hospitalized, three of whom are in a critical state. The police said the cause of the accident is still under investigation, but the monks informed them that they witnessed the truck swerve before it fell off the road and struck the group. The minor boy, aged 11 years, is currently in prison and will be interrogated, according to authorities. Buddhist monks hold a significant place in Thai society, with more than 90% of the population being followers of the religion.

Belgian officials report that a fire at an apartment building in Antwerp, a port city, has claimed the lives of at least six people.  Antwerp police announced on Wednesday afternoon that the fire was nearly extinguished and was caused by a mechanical problem on the bottom floor. Unexpectedly, many people have been hurt, and six died, according to the police. At 9:53 a.m., a fire was reported on the eighth floor of a building in the Linkeroever area, according to a police statement.  Bart De Wever, the Prime Minister of Belgium, expressed his condolences to the victims and the local community. I'd like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the emergency services, who are working diligently to aid the countless people impacted as soon and safely as possible, and to bring the fire under control," he added.

The KPK Government said on Wednesday that seven drowned after a tourist boat capsized in Saifullah Lake in Swat, with two others saved. The Swat rescue team reported that seven bodies were extracted from the lake after the incident and subsequently conveyed to Kalam Hospital by ambulance. DC had reported earlier that five people were found dead, and a search and rescue operation was in progress to find four visitors who were missing. Authorities did not immediately share more information concerning the circumstances of the incident.

At least 14 children died, and several others were injured as a result of the roof collapse at a tuition center in the Kahna locality of Lahore.  After the rescue efforts were finalized, authorities took five people into custody. Punjab government authorities said at a press briefing that a tuition center's ceiling collapsed in Lahore's Kahna district on Tuesday, killing at least 14 children and injuring many others.    Post-incident, 19 children were transported to Kahna Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, according to the Punjab Health Minister. The ministry confirmed that the roof fall resulted in the deaths of 14 pupils.
