Afghanistan: Police killed 3 Assailants After Minister House Attacked

Police repelled the terrorist attack near the house of the interim minister of National Defense in Kabul. Terrorists launched an explosive-laden vehicle attack to blow up the acting minister General Bismillah Mohammadi's residence in Shirpur, Kabul. A car bomb attack killed 8, wounded 20 near the minister's house. The Afghan special forces leaped into action after an emergency phone call rang, spokesperson for the Interior Ministry stated during a media briefing. After several hours of the standoff with police, all 3 attackers were killed, he further added in the statement. The police operation ended at 11.00 P.M after three hours shootout with insurgents. In a gruesome attack, the acting Afgan minister and his family remained unhurt.  Taliban takes responsibility for a deadly attack on the residence of  General Bismillah Mohammadi,  the Afghan interim minister of National Defense.

Afghanistan: About 40 Civilians Killed In Lashkar Gah: UN

  The United Nations said Tuesday that at least 40 civilians were killed and over 100 injured in the 24 hours of a fierce battle between state forces and the Taliban in an environed southern city. The UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan expressed "deep concern" about the fate of civilians in Lashkar Gah, the capital of Helmand province, in a social media post, urging an "immediate cessation of fighting in urban areas."The insurgent officials said they have taken hold of over a dozen local TV and radio stations in Lashkar Gah, the capital of Helmand Province. Hundreds of residents chant from their balconies in Herat, another city under siege, "Allahu akbar", as the state forces thwarted the Taliban's latest onslaught. Independent Commission for Human Rights in Afghanistan stated that the insurgents had committed vengeance and had left at least 40 people dead there.

Turkey Neutralizes 137 Terrorists.

As per official data, Turkish security forces neutralized 137 PKK and YPG terrorists in domestic and cross-border operations in July 2021. In a statement, Turkish authorities frequently use the word "neutralize" to mention that the miscreants either surrendered, were killed, or were captured. The Turkish Armed Forces, as well as the Security General Directorate, gendarmerie, and the National Intelligence Organization (MIT), conducted counter-terrorism operations in July, according to Anadolu Agency. In operations against the terrorist group PKK and its youth branch in numerous provinces, 186 individuals were detained and 40 were apprehended. Security officials proceed with a crackdown to wipe out oppressor elements at home and abroad without interference. The quantity of PKK elements who genuflected to security powers this year rose to 114 as of 28th July.15 terrorists, who killed 2 Turkish soldiers in Operation Euphrates Shield zone were also exterminated on July 24, 2021.

Afghan Govt Is Ready To Share Power With Taliban: Atmar

In an interview with the Russian newspaper Izvestia, Atmar stated that the Afghan government is willing to make peace with the Taliban if they meet certain requirements. Mohammad Hanif Atmar, the foreign minister of Afghanistan, announced that government is ready for peace and power-sharing with the Taliban,."We are ready for the Taliban to cooperate, we are ready to take them to the administration, we are ready to share peace and power with the Taliban, "He said. Atmar further added, "The future of this country is determined by the freedom of the Afghan people. There should be no threat to Afghanistan, and there should be no foreign insurgents on its soil."He stated that the Afghan government is willing to accept the Taliban as a member of its organization as long as the group does not support terrorism. PMF leader Assassinated In Attack in Babel.

BAGHDAD, Iraq —  Iraqi security  source yesterday stated that in an equipped attack in the Babel governorate, a unit leader in Al-Hashd al-Shaabi (PMF) was martyred. The source told Iraqi media outlets, "Abu Sadiq al‐Khashkashhi, a manager of the ninth brigade in al‐Hashd al‐Shaabi, was assaulted yesterday by mysterious persons. Unidentified persons opened fire at his vehicle while he was going to the Gouvernement of Babel." Al-Khashkhashi and one of its protectors were slain as well, While his driver was wounded, as the report indicated.

US Closes Consulate In Iraq Over Security Concern.

As the US envoy in Iraq stated, the US Consulate in Basra, in the south of the state, was shut down as a result of security concerns. Matthew Toller expressed that the US Bureau in Basra was covered for expenses and security reasons.  Washington and Baghdad, according to Toller, have agreed to boost bilateral ties. Iraq, he claims, is a country with great sovereignty, not just for its residents, but also for the entire region. Source: Mehr News Agency. 

PKK Offshoot Claimed Responsibility For Deadly Blaze In Turkey.

The branch of  Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) ,  Children's of Fire issued a statement claiming responsibility for the fires that have devasted southern Turkey. The claim of responsibility was published by Nûçe Ciwan, which had the slogan "Dynamism of Youth" in Kurdish (Kurmanji), Arabic, Turkish, German, and English, Greek City Times reported today. We have set the Turkish forest on fire in repose to Turkish spiral atrocities committed against the Kurds in Syria, Iraq, and Turkey, PKK subgroup said. Deadly fire in southern Turkey has claimed 8 lives so far, and thousands of others have been evacuated from the area that is subject to forest blazes and terrorist attacks. Syria To Form New Cabinet

  Bashar al-Assad renamed Hussein Arnous as Prime Minister, and dictated him to form a new cabinet, the SANA reported on Sunday. Assad issued the order following the fourth time victory in the Syrian presidential elections, conducted in May 2021. Assad previously chose Arnous as Prime Minister in August to supplant  Emad Khamis.Syrian former prime minister  Emad Khamis was sacked  in June 2020, when the  Syrian Arab Republic plunged  into a financial crisis and the Syrian pound crashed . Arnous previously worked as Minister of Water Resources, prior to becoming Prime Minister.

Egyptian Military Killed 89 Terrorists.

C AIRO, Egypt —  According to a statement issued by the General Commander of the Armed Forces on Sunday, the Egyptian Armed Forces conducted operations against terrorists across the country, killing 89 and wounding much more Islamic state-linked terrorists, in Northern Sinai.  The Sinai is a peninsula in Egypt and the only part of the country located in Asia.  In a gun battle with terrorists 8, military soldiers were also killed. During the operations, 73 machine guns, 140 magazines, 5,606 rounds, 34 wireless communications devices, a night-vision and camera-equipped drone, mobile phones, a laptop, and cash amounts were confiscated, according to the Egyptian military source. Additionally, the Armed Forces destroyed 52 cars and 59 motorcycles used by extreme elements during the operations, as well as 404 explosive devices and four suicide belts, according to the statement.

NATO To Train Afghan Soldiers In Turkey.

KABUL, Afghanistan — NATO will train Afghan soldiers in Turkey. The Military training program is to be held outside Afghanistan, in Turkey. There was no disclosure of the site of the Afghan special forces military training program, starting once NATO's involvement in Afghanistan formally ends. Objectively, Afghan forces and government want international coalition forces presence in Afghanistan because indigenous forces are incapable of tackling any type of contingency with adroitness. This action is intended to be the regular military training program for Afghan forces. Turkey insists on not partaking in the Afghanistan war in Afghanistan. Kandahar Airport Targeted With Rockets.

KABUL, Afghanistan — Taliban insurgents have intensified tactical attacks in Afghanistan. Three rockets have struck the Kandahar Airport in southern Afghanistan, terminal manager Massoud Pashtun said, while speaking to the AFP news agency on Sunday. "Three rockets were shot down in the air at the terminal last night, with two of them hitting the runway he added more. As a result of the Taliban attack, all departures from the airport have been canceled "the manager stated. He further added that work of repairing the runway was underway and the air terminal needed to be operational again by the end of the day on Sunday. China Donates 150,000 Covid Vaccine Doses To Syria.

DAMASUS, Syria — On Thursday, Syria received 150,000 doses of China-supplied Covid-19 vaccines. While signing the vaccine receipt at Damascus International Airport, Hassan al-Ghabbash, Health Minister of the State of Damascus, told reporters on Thursday that 150,000 doses of Sinopharm anti-Covid 19 have been  received. "Syria highly values China's support in every sphere of life, specifically in the medical field", he further said. Taliban Kills Key Afghan Military Commander.

T olo News agency reported Saturday that the Taliban killed one of the Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) most powerful figures. According to a government statement, the Taliban assassinated Colonel Abdul Hamid in Afghanistan's Herat region on Friday. Colonel Abdul Hamid was arrested and slain by the Taliban when clashes escalated in the Guzara region of Afghanistan's Herat province, according to the report. Another report said Afghan troops have retaken a key town from the Taliban in western Herat province, on Saturday, as fighting continues with heavy casualties on the Taliban's side. Furthermore, at least 131 Taliban militants have been killed and 62 more injured in a series of anti-insurgents crackdowns in various provinces since Friday. According to the Ministry of Defense, the army recaptured the Gozar district of Herat province on Saturday, driving Taliban militants out.
