The branch of Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), Children's of Fire issued a statement claiming responsibility for the fires that have devasted southern Turkey. The claim of responsibility was published by Nûçe Ciwan, which had the slogan "Dynamism of Youth" in Kurdish (Kurmanji), Arabic, Turkish, German, and English, Greek City Times reported today. We have set the Turkish forest on fire in repose to Turkish spiral atrocities committed against the Kurds in Syria, Iraq, and Turkey, PKK subgroup said. Deadly fire in southern Turkey has claimed 8 lives so far, and thousands of others have been evacuated from the area that is subject to forest blazes and terrorist attacks. Following the hate crime, seven members of a Kurdish family were killed in central Turkey last week.PKK is a Kurdish militant and political group, based in the Kurdish regions of Turkey, Iraq’s northern semi-autonomous Kurdistan region, and in Syria. Since 1984, the PKK has been involved in an armed conflict with the Turkish state. Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) has been calling for a Kurdish state in Turkey for the last 35 years, their armed struggle has left more than 42,000 people dead, mostly civilians. The PKK is a designated terrorist organization by the European Union, United States, Canada, and Australia.
The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza says that Israeli forces have martyred 70 Palestinians in just the past day. Since Israel's war on Gaza began on October 7, 2023, the Gaza Health Ministry reported 61,897 deaths and 155,660 injuries. Seventy Palestinians were sent to hospitals during the past day, including eight who were rescued from under the debris or elsewhere, according to Al Jazeera . At least 26 people sadly died while trying to get aid , and another 175 were injured. While trying to get food, at least 1,924 Palestinians have been confirmed martyred, and 14,288 have been injured. Since March 18, Israel has broken the previous ceasefire , completely blocked aid, and launched devastating airstrikes, resulting in at least 10,362 Palestinian deaths and 43,619 injuries, according to the ministry.
