ISIS Attack Kills Several In Iraq.

The Iraqi military announced in a statement on Friday that the strike on the funeral procession in northern Iraq claimed several fatalities. The military stated that a "number of people" were killed in the "terrorist" attack in Salahaddin province, but did not disclose precise details. According to the government officials, eight individuals were murdered, including police officers and civilians, when armed militants opened fire on the gathering. The deadly attack was carried out by the Islamic State, according to the official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity. The death toll could not be confirmed right now. The military stated that after the inquiry is completed, it will release more information. :

Syria Accomplishes Its commitments CWC Announced.

10,000 Chinese & Russian Soldiers To participate In a combined Drill In Ningxia.

In a bid to further deepening of their defence alliance, more than 10,000 troops from China and Russia will participate in a joint practice. The exercise will take place in China's Ningxia Hui autonomous province in early August, according to Chinese defence ministry spokeswoman Wu Qian. The action comes as both countries' relations with the United States are deteriorating. During a routine press briefing in Beijing, Wu stated, "The objective of this exercise is to cement and develop a comprehensive strategic partnership of cooperation between two countries." “It will also highlight both sides' determination and capabilities to confront terrorist forces and jointly safeguard regional peace and security,” says the statement.

Rains swept Through Afghanistan Killing 40, Missing 150.

  Officials said on Thursday that at least 40 people were killed and 150 were missing in northern Afghanistan after flash floods ravaged the area. A search for the missing people was underway after torrential rains flooded Kamdesh district in Nuristan province, about 200 kilometers (120 miles) northeast of Kabul.“Approximately 40 people were killed last night as a result of flash floods,” said Saeedullah Nuristani, the head of the provincial council. He stated that 150 people were still missing and nearly 80 homes had been destroyed as a result of the flooding.
