Discussions between Syria and Iran to improve and strengthen parliamentary ties.

 The People's Assembly's advisory groups on "Bedouin, Foreign and Expatriates Affairs," "Public Safety," and "Syrian-Iranian Friendship" discussed with Chairman of the Iranian Parliament National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Vahid Jalalzadeh a process for boosting and developing parliamentary relations between the two countries. Individuals from the boards of trustees discussed the need to improve collaboration between Syria and Iran at all levels, as well as coordination on matters of common interest, in order to overcome the monetary blockade.
