KABUL, Afghanistan — As many as 21 Afghan National Security officers had reportedly been killed and several others wounded after Taliban insurgents went on a killing spree in Kunduz and Badakhshan provinces of Afghanistan, government authorities made an announcement via press conference, on Monday. Violent scenes set in motion in Imam-Saib and Chahardara districts of Kunduz province when the Taliban stormed and annihilated security outposts, killing at least 14 Afghan National Security Forces. Without giving an exact Militants' casualties figure spokesman for the Kunduz governor said the Taliban also sustained Collateral damage during the shoot-out with ANDSF. He further said a large cache of weapons and ammo was meant to be used to carry out more attacks in different parts of the country was confiscated from the Taliban as well.
