Afghan Forces Sustained Large Casualties In Fresh Wave Of Taliban Violence

KABUL, Afghanistan — As many as 21 Afghan National Security officers had reportedly been killed and several others wounded after Taliban insurgents went on a killing spree in Kunduz and Badakhshan provinces of Afghanistan, government authorities made an announcement via press conference, on Monday. Violent scenes set in motion in Imam-Saib and Chahardara districts of Kunduz province when the Taliban stormed and annihilated security outposts, killing at least 14 Afghan National Security Forces.
