.  Multiple Mini trucks ferrying workers crashed on Tuesday. . The accident took place on 11, August 2026. . At least 18 people were killed, including children August, 13 - (The Global News Desk 115) -  At least 18 workers were killed in a deadly accident on a connecting road in Al-Dawawis, Ismailia province, on Tuesday morning, August 11.  Two mini trucks, which were conveying agricultural workers, were involved in the accident. A hospital chief told newspapers, "The majority of those who died were youngsters".  The youngest victim was about 11 or 10  years old.  At least 1.3 million children in Egypt are doing child labor because of poverty, and a large number of youngsters are not completing high school in backward areas.  Egypt's President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi ordered an investigation into the deadly accident. The initial reports revealed that the accident took place due to overspeeding.
