Tolo News agency reported Saturday that the Taliban killed one of the Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) most powerful figures. According to a government statement, the Taliban assassinated Colonel Abdul Hamid in Afghanistan's Herat region on Friday. Colonel Abdul Hamid was arrested and slain by the Taliban when clashes escalated in the Guzara region of Afghanistan's Herat province, according to the report.
