The Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) reports that in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, heavy monsoon rains have led to 12 deaths and 18 injuries within a span of three days.
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued a
nationwide notice for flash floods, urban flooding, and landslides from July 21
to 24, according to a KPK government announcement.
According to a report issued by the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) between Sunday and Tuesday, the deceased included five adults, two of whom were women, as well as five children.
The Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) has reported that
significant rainfall has caused interruptions in 148 feeders across various
regions of the province.
The Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) further said that
various regions across the province are experiencing power supply interruptions
due to the weather.
