Iraqi Army Expands Control Over New Areas In Hawija , Killing Hundreds IS Terrorists

KIRKUK , Iraq - In Chain of successful anti terrorists operations in Hawija district , located in the oil rich province of Kirkuk , Iraqi army manged to kill over 200 terrorists and took back 70 square km from the Islamic state militants on the first day of second phase of Hawija offensive , Federal police chief  Lt. Gen. Shaker Jawdat reported on Friday . He further added because of steadfastness of Iraqi military and popular forces during the anti terrorists operation 23 villages were recaptured from the terrorists . Military sources said earlier on Friday that in the process of liberation of vast area in Hawija district more than 45 armored vehicles and several explosive devises were destroyed in aerial and ground assault executed by the Iraqi army and its paramilitary forces . In the first phase of Hawija operation Iraqi military killed  around 600 IS Terrorists and liberated 103 Villages .

Russian Airstrikes Wreak Havoc On Tahrir al-Sham Leadership - Russian Defense Ministry

Written By Shujaat Hussain Abbasi IDLIB , Syria -  At least 12 Tahrir al-Sham field commanders have been killed and their  Prominent  Leader Abu Mohammad al-Julan  sustained multiple injuries in Russian airstrike , the spokesman for Russian defense ministry Major-General Igor Konashenkov said on Tuesday . He added their warplanes launched intelligence based airstrikes in which they targeted Tahrir al-Sham formerly known as Al - Nusra Front meeting venue in which more than 60 terrorists including 12 field commanders and Julani body guards were eliminated and score others were wounded . Local sources of Idlib city said in accurate and timely airstrikes Prominent  Leader Abu Mohammad al-Julan lost his both hands .

Saudi Arabia and Iran will reopen their embassies shortly

  Tehran, IRAN-  Saudi Arabia and Iran will reopen embassies in each other's capitals "within days," Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdolakhian said on Friday. Seven years after the two countries terminated their activities, there is a breakthrough in relations. According to the official translation into Arabic, "We have agreed to reopen the Iranian and Saudi Arabian embassies in Tehran and Riyadh in the next few days, during the last phone call between the foreign ministers of Iran and Saudi Arabia on Eid al-Fitr."
