Turkish Army Eliminates Over 60 PKK Militants Within Week

Hakkâri , Turkey - As much as 63 PKK militants have been killed within a week in counter terrorism operation launched in the southern provinces of Turkey , Turkish military reported on Friday . Turkish military sources added during the anti terrorist operation  between 21 September to  27 September , 4 Turkish soldiers were also  killed and 27 were wounded due to tough resistance . The Turkish General Staff said that during the counter terrorism operation sizeable ammunition was recovered from the terrorists . He further added that operation was launched in Yuksekova district of Hakkari province, the Silopi and Beytussebap districts of Sirnak province, the Midyat and Nusaybin districts of Mardin province, the Baykan district of Siirt province and the Lice district of Diyarbakir province in which 63 Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants were killed and scores  wounded.
