Afghanistan: 15 Civilians Mostly Women & Children Killed In Roadside Blast In Kunduz

Kabul, Afghanistan — Mini commuter lorry heavily loaded with children and women trapped in explosive mine by misfortune. Explosive mine was largely believed to have been placed underground the road for Afghan security forces by Taliban insurgents in the northern Afghan province of Kunduz. Afghan local media reported on Wednesday that approximately 15 civilians including seven women and six children died and two more were wounded when their bus struck with a roadside mine in the Imam Sahib district of Kunduz province of Afghanistan. The initial investigation report surfaced by the Afghan interior ministry said that victims of accidents were traveling to attend the marriage ceremony when their bus met terrible misfortune. 15 dead bodies and 2 civilians with shrapnel injuries were transferred to a district civil hospital by the rescuers.
