Gunmen stormed illegal cockfighting site in Mexico, killing 20 spectators

The incident occurred in Las Tinajas, a rural town in Zinapécuaro

Police in Mexico revealed that a group of militants assaulted an illegal cockfighting site in a tiny village in western Michoacan, killing 20 people. 

Police and bystanders detailed a horrifying carnage in which assailants dressed in military clothes arrived shortly after 10.20 p.m. on Sunday and started firing with assault rifles on crowds of mostly middle-aged males. 

The highway leading to the cockfighting arena was blocked by two small trucks. 




Mexican police said they discovered 19 bodies, 16 men and 3 women, according to local media. 

Another victim died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. There are about 100 7.62 caliber rifle bullets on the ground.

Police also impounded 15 vehicles that were present at the accident scene.

Russian Airstrikes Wreak Havoc On Tahrir al-Sham Leadership - Russian Defense Ministry
