"We are experiencing today unprecedented Western pressure to isolate Russia in order to undermine its international independence," said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
In an interview with Serbian media, Lavrov emphasized that sanctions against Russia were imposed by the West in response to the failure of his plans in Ukraine.
"The West cannot isolate us, as we have many partners such as China, India, Middle Eastern, and African countries," Lavrov further added in a statement.
