KABUL, Afghanistan — Head of the Afghan border security forces Commander Brigadier general Zahirgul Muqbil had been killed, three other military officers and a local journalist were wounded when their military vehicle went up in the air and engulfed in flames after hitting the roadside bomb. An improvised explosive device most likely was planted by the Taliban Jihadists in Helmand Province. High-level authorities of Helmand province announced that violence began in the Marjah district of Helmand province on Saturday morning when the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (Humvee) trapped in the indigenous roadside bomb while it was patrolling the Afghanistan border in order to launch crackdown on miscreants.
