Texas authorities discovered 50 dead migrants in the truck

As many as 50 illegal immigrants have been found dead in an abandoned trailer near the US-Mexico border in San Antonio, Texas. Another 16 people, including four children, were hospitalized due to heat exhaustion and heat stroke.  The trailer is believed to have been refrigerated, but none of the air conditioning units appeared to be working, despite the temperature outside hitting 39.4C.  The survivors were described by firefighters as "hot to the touch".  According to law enforcement, the San Antonio incident was one of the deadliest single migrant deaths in recent years.  The death toll in the gruesome incident in which bodies were found "arranged" in a truck trailer near San Antonio has risen to at least 50, officials said.  Early on Tuesday, the Mexican Secretary of Foreign Affairs tweeted that US officials had confirmed at least 50 fatalities.  Survivors experienced heat exhaustion and heat exhaustion.  Traffickers frequently utilize trucks to car...

Helicopter Crash Killed all Six People on Board  The USA, Virginia - Six people were killed in a helicopter crash in West Virginia, on Wednesday night, authorities said.  According to the Civil Aviation Service, the helicopter crashed at around 5pm in Logan County in southwest West Virginia.   The helicopter known as the Huey crashed on 17 State Road, near Mount Blair, according to Logan County emergency management associate director Sonia Porter.  When firefighters arrived at the scene, they found the helicopter exploded and extinguished the fire, officials said.  According to Ray Bryant, chief of operations for local emergency services, the helicopter was on fire when the crew arrived and firefighters were putting out the fire.  Authorities are still investigating what caused the crash, but they know the weather was fine at the time. Earthquakes in Afghanistan destroyed hundreds of homes & killed nearly 1,000

The earthquake in Afghanistan has killed at least 950 people and injured hundreds more, Afghan authorities confirmed.  About 950 people have died and more than 1500 have been injured, a top disaster management official said during a news briefing. Air ambulance service was activated in the eastern Paktika province to transport severely injured to hospitals.  According to Taliban leader Hibatullah Ahundzada, hundreds of homes have been destroyed and the death toll is expected to rise.  When the earthquake near the host city occurred on Tuesday shortly after 1:30 a.m. local time, many people were at home and sound sleeping in their beds.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Visits Iran To Import Electricity

Iran, Tehran - On a 2-day visit, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto arrived in Tehran today. Inflation rate in Canada reached 6.8%.in April

Food and accommodation prices climb in Canada Canada, Ottawa - Consumer prices in Canada rose 6.8 percent in April, slightly up from 6.7 percent in March, according to Statistics Canada last month. Food and property prices accounted for most of April's increase. The National Statistics Office said gas prices rose more slowly in April than in March, slowing the acceleration of the consumer price index (CPI) for all items in April. CPI climbed 5.8% in April, excluding gasoline, after gaining 5.5 percent in March.  This was the fastest growth since the all-items excluding gasoline special aggregate was introduced in 1999. A strong employment rate, as unemployment fell to a fresh low in April, tends to put upward pressure on prices. Average hourly wages for white-collar workers rose 3.3% in April, according to Statistics Canada, indicating that prices are rising faster than average wages, resulting in a loss of purchasing power for Canadians."There is no relief...
