Massive fire At bar In Bangkok kills dozens

July 13 - (The Global News Desk 115) — At least 29 people lost their lives, and several others were injured in a terrible fire that broke out in a Bangkok pub late on Sunday night.

Several black bags to carry dead bodies were found on the ground outside the Rong Beer Na Lat Phrao restaurant and bar early on Monday, according to representatives from international media agencies.

A large number of emergency service personnel were also present at the scene.

The fire quickly engulfed the bar, extending to the ceiling. Smoke was probably the main reason for the 29 fatalities and 60 injuries.

As soon as authorities learned of the bar fire, numerous firefighters, law enforcement, and rescue teams were dispatched to the scene.

The Prime Minister of Thailand reportedly informed reporters on the scene that 27 people had passed away and scores were shifted to the hospital, according to local media sources.

Due to serious burns, two of the injured later passed away in the hospital.

He underlined that the cause of the fire is still being investigated.
