ISPR: 17 Terrorists Killed In Balochistan

QUETTAT, Balochistan — Following the train bombing in Quetta on May 24, security forces successfully killed 17 terrorists during intelligence-driven operations in Balochistan, the military media wing said.

On Tuesday, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced that operations were conducted in Mastung, Nushki, Zehri, Khuzdar, and Ketch as part of a heightened counterterrorism initiative.

Furthermore, the same source confirmed that forces struck many terrorist hideouts as part of the counter-terrorism exercise.

The military labeled the terrorists who were killed as militants funded by India.

The military media wing announced that efforts to clean up the targeted areas are still in progress to eliminate any remaining terrorists.

Moreover, it was emphasized that both law enforcement and armed forces are steadfast in their commitment to implementing counterterrorism strategies under Azm-e-Istehkam, a campaign endorsed by the Federal Apex Committee as part of the National Action Plan to eradicate foreign-sponsored terrorism and durable peace.
