Bilawal: "On June 7, the citizens of GB will display their
strength and choose a jiyala chief minister."
Highlighting the PPP's dedication to the region, he said his father, President Asif Ali Zardari, "gave GB its current identity," pointing out that the province used to be referred to as the Northern Areas.
He addresses that Pakistan requires a government "capable of facing the world directly," asserting that only the PPP can fulfill this role as a genuine representative of the populace.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, chairman of the Pakistan People's Party, expressed his expectation that similar results will be achieved in future national elections and encouraged voters in Gilgit Baltistan to lend their support to the PPPP to establish a government in the area.
PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has also assured that he will take prompt action on the resettlement of those affected by the Diamer-Bhasha Dam if the PPP emerges victorious in the GB elections on June 7.
While speaking at the massive polling campaign rally on Tuesday, Bilawal expressed that the people of G-B deserve equal constitutional and administrative powers that are granted to other provinces through the 18th Constitutional Amendment.
