BALOCHISTAN: Pakistani Military Eliminates Over 170 Terrorists

QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN -- On 29 and 30 January 2026, a confrontation that was triggered by a series of gunfire and bomb assaults in Balochistan, Pakistani security forces eliminated 177 terrorists, according to the local media outlets of Balochistan, which reported on Sunday that approximately 31 civilians and 17 security officials also lost their lives. 

The BLA rebels responsible for a wave of coordinated gunfire and bombs in the southwestern Balochistan province were the subject of an inquiry by Pakistan's security forces on Sunday.

As reported by Balochistan's Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti, the BLA's series of strikes resulted in the deaths of no less than 31 civilians and 17 security personnel. 

Bugti further reported that at least 145 assailants were killed, but that the toll climbed to 177 days following.

BLA claimed responsibility for the most recent attacks on security forces and civilians.
