U.S.Operation in Venezuela Results in Dozens of Foreigners' Deaths

Cuba, Havana ... Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel said that 32 Cuban people were killed during a US effort to capture Venezuela's President Nicolas Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores.

A presidential decree reported by Cubadebate states, "Our nation is deeply saddened by the death of 32 Cubans who were tragically killed while performing their duties during the illegal attack by the United States government on Venezuela."

The island also announced two days of mourning, as reported by the local publication.
