School Van Crash Claims Over Twelve Lives

At least 13 children were killed in a collision between a vehicle and a school van in South Africa.

An accident occurred at 7 am in the Gauteng province of South Africa, as reported by authorities on Monday.

A government report said that a private vehicle was transporting students to various primary and high schools in southwest Johannesburg on Monday when the incident occurred.

The accident occurred when the vehicle transporting the children attempted to overtake stationary vehicles and collided head-on with a truck, according to a passerby.

11 pupils were killed on the spot, and two more died later in the hospital from their injuries.

The authorities have declared that the incident is presently being examined, and the truck driver will be interrogated as part of the examination.
