Afghanistan: Yet Another Important District Falls To Taliban

KABUL, Afghanistan — After a successful and consequential chain of gruesome attacks, the Taliban forces managed to retake one of the very important districts from Afghan security forces, the day before yesterday, Afghan authorities confirmed. Anti-government forces beat back the Afghan National Security Forces by staging sequence of brazen attacks on their citadels in Dawlat Shah district of Laghman province. According to the local media, the Taliban compelled Afghan security forces to retreat embattled turf by encircling them from all sides in a specific area of Dawlat Shah district. All government forces trapped in the captured district were rescued and shifted to the safe area as soon as they called for urgent help to avoid being captured by Taliban insurgents. Local media said the Afghan air force pounded the Taliban Jihadists' positions in Dawlat Shah district, causing material damage to insurgents. last week, the Taliban captured the Nirkh district located in the east of Wardak province, near the capital city of Afghanistan Kabul.
