Syria: Over 2 Dozen Al-Qaeda leaders Killed & Wounded In US Drone Attack

DAMASUS, Syria — The UK-based war monitor has reported that as many as 22 hardcore terrorists including a civilian, and a former Islamic State leader who had joined the HTS militants group a few years ago were killed and 11 others wounded in a targeted US drone strike on Thursday. The report documented by SOHR further added that 22 insurgents, mostly Tahrir al-Shamal, Al Qaeda-linked group's leaders were killed when a drone attack launched by the  International coalition lead by the United States targeted insurgents' dinner venue in the village of Jakara in the Salqin area of Idlib province, near the Syria-Turkey border.
