CAIRO, Egypt — Over a dozen Islamic State's terrorists were believed to have been involved in a bomb attack on Egyptian forces had reportedly been killed in massive anti-terror crackdown in North Sinai. The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) had launched a bomb attack on the Egyptian security forces on Thursday, causing 10 casualties among the government forces. A piece of information brought to the surface by the Ministry of Interior of Egypt on Sunday claimed that approximately 18 Islamic State terrorists most likely involved in attacks on government security forces were eliminated during the military operation in the Northern part of Sinai. The Sinai is a peninsula in Egypt and the only part of the country located in Asia.
