Kabul, Afghanistan — At least seven civilians were reportedly killed in the gruesome gun attack launched by the unidentified perpetrators in the northern province of Balkh on Wednesday. The spokesperson for the police headquarters of the Sholgara district made an announcement during the press briefing that all victims were farmers targeted by the terrorist group when they were trying to approach their lands for cultivation. No claim of responsibility has yet been made for the gun attack by any insurgents' group. In another incident, five servicemen of Pashtany Bank were killed in the gun violence that took place on the Herat-Islam Qala highway police authorities said on Thursday evening. The incident occurred in Kohsan district of Herat province. No other identifying piece of information about deceased such as names or designations was instantly released by an Afghan police source as of yesterday.
