Israeli Airstrikes Wiped out Pro-Government Forces Positions In Syria, Killing Dozens

DAMASCUS, Syria — United Kingdom-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights office documented 23 Pro-government forces deaths, were largely believed to have been martyred on Thursday morning, in Israeli airstrikes on Syrian territories. SOHR claimed that at least 15 paramilitary forces, including five Syrian and three Iranians, were killed when their positions were pounded by hostile projectiles in Damascus and Daraa. These claims were convincingly refuted by the State-owned News Agency SANA, it said only eight government soldiers were wounded in hostile fire. Most of the Israeli missiles fired in Syrian airspace were destroyed in the air before reaching the military targets in Damascus and Daraa.
