Turkey - Syria offensive: Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Turndown US Call For Armistice

The US call for an instant halting of the Turkish offensive in the Kurdish region of  Syria has been renounced by Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Despite the US sanctions, and unhealthy economic state, the man of principle Turkish president refusing to genuflect to the American leadership. His statement comes ahead of Vice President Mike Pence and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's visit to Turkey. On a Monday evening, the US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin had gauged the more sanctions to be imposed on Turkey over the incursion of Syria.
