Afghanistan: Dozens Killed & Wounded Following Blast In Jalalabad

At least 51 people were killed and wounded after a blast hit the bus packed with Afghan security forces in the Jalalabad. No claim of responsibility has yet been made for the bomb attack. The accident took place when a motorbike filled with explosives ripped through the military bus carrying army recruits in Jalalabad, the capital city of eastern Nangarhar province on late Monday. Eyewitnesses said that the huge explosion killed at least 14 military recruits and left 37 others wounded. The death toll of the blast was confirmed by the Afghan interior ministry as well. Islamic State understood to have behind the attack local media said. The specific region is constantly on the target of  Islamic State and Taliban militants. The enduring peace was to have been enjoyed by the Afghan people long ago, but the Taliban leaders refused to yield before the US stipulations during the dialogues.
