KABUL, Afghanistan — About 35 Afghan civilians were killed and wounded when a time bomb ripped through the entrance gate of Kabul University. The report issued by the Afghan Health Ministry said that 8 people were killed while 27 others were wounded in a deleterious bombing. The same source further added that the incident took place around 7:30 A.M when a private vehicle was targeted with an explosive device near the southern gate of the university. The responsibility of the attack has not been yet claimed by any radical group. In another attack, at least 12 police officers were killed and more than 80 wounded when the Taliban launched a massive attack on police headquarters in the Afghan city of Kandahar on Thursday. A local source said that the Taliban used laden vehicles to penetrate government forces.
