Taliban Mounting Pressure Forced Afghan Forces To Give Up Remote District

KABUL,  Afghanistan ­– Afghan Provincial officials informed the media on Tuesday that government forces have withdrawn from a strategic district of Farah province after failing to clear supply route from Taliban insurgents in the west of the country. The spoke person for governor of Farah province added that due to supply route blockade to Shebkoh the neighboring district of Iran for a long time government force had decided to withdraw in order to prevent human and material loss.
