KANDAHAR, Afghanistan — At least 140 Afghan security forces have been killed by the Taliban's deadly attacks in different areas of Afghanistan in order to expand their control. Afghan local media reports as many as 140 Afgan security forces have been killed in the gun battle with Taliban in Jawzjan and Wardak governorates, over the past 48 hours. According to reliable sources, several villages and security checkpoints including Daymirdad district in Maidan Wardak and Khamab district in Jawzjan province have collapsed to insurgents.
