Afghan Army Obliterates Islamic State Positions In Bliztrig Offensive Near Pakistani Border Killing At Least 160 Militants.

KABUL, Afghanistan — The press Secretary of the Afghan military media cell said during the press conference that around 160 Islamic State militants had been killed in a qualitative military operation launched by the Afghan and US commandos in the last 3 weeks, near the Pak-Afghan border. It more added that U.S. and Afghan troops drove Islamic State fighters out of the district that militants once considered their hotbed and they wished to make local capital. Sources further added that in the course of a 3-week anti-terrorist operation in Deh Bala district, 10 miles from the Pakistan border their forces had killed more than 160 and expelled hundreds of Islamic State militants from their bastions.
