BAGHDAD, Iraq - On Saturday, the people of Iraq voted for a new parliament. Saairun the Communist Party of Iraq headed by Shia cleric Muqtada al-Sadr stood head and shoulders above all parties by Winning 54 seats. His party has acquired 20 more seats in this election.




The Fatah Coalition headed by Hadi al-Amiri came in second with 47 seats. New party.



The Nasr coalition of the current Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi is third with 42 seats New party.



Dawa (Maliki) IDP–IO Alliance State of Law Coalition Headed By Nouri al-Maliki Won 25 Seats. In last polls, his party had acquired 92 seats in the election.




Kurdistan Democratic Party headed By Nechervan Barzani has won 25 seats.




  Iraqi National Accord party Al-Wataniya headed By Ayad Allawi Belongs to the Shia merchant family of Iraq has Won 21 Seats.



Defectors from ISCI Most of Al-Muwatin National Wisdom Movement headed By Ammar al-Hakim
won 19 seats, in the last election he had acquired 29 seats.


Patriotic Union of Kurdistan Headed By Kosrat Rasul Ali Won 18 Seats 3 seats less than previous polls.



Al-Hadba - Al-Hal - IIP Arab Project in Iraq heady By Sunni Arab leader Osama al-Nujaifi
أسامة النجيفي Won 14 seats 9 seats less than the previous election.

Russian Air force Claims To Have obliterated ISIS Training Center In Deir Ezzor , Killing All Terrorists Inside It

DEIR EZ ZOR, Syria  -  Russian defense ministry has announced the killing and injuring of around 500 Islamic State militants in intense and accurate airstrikes in Deir Ezzor governorate. On Tuesday, spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry  Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said that at least 304 ISIS militants have been killed including 7 senior field commanders and 170 injured during 48 hours in Russian airstrikes on the eastern bank of the Euphrates river in Deir Ez-Zor, Syria. Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov further informed the Sputnik news agency that during the series of successful military operations ISIS Training Center, hideouts and weapons depots were completely extinguished in the  Euphrates region.  

Russian Airstrikes Wreak Havoc On Tahrir al-Sham Leadership - Russian Defense Ministry

Written By Shujaat Hussain Abbasi IDLIB , Syria -  At least 12 Tahrir al-Sham field commanders have been killed and their  Prominent  Leader Abu Mohammad al-Julan  sustained multiple injuries in Russian airstrike , the spokesman for Russian defense ministry Major-General Igor Konashenkov said on Tuesday . He added their warplanes launched intelligence based airstrikes in which they targeted Tahrir al-Sham formerly known as Al - Nusra Front meeting venue in which more than 60 terrorists including 12 field commanders and Julani body guards were eliminated and score others were wounded . Local sources of Idlib city said in accurate and timely airstrikes Prominent  Leader Abu Mohammad al-Julan lost his both hands .

Saudi Arabia and Iran will reopen their embassies shortly

  Tehran, IRAN-  Saudi Arabia and Iran will reopen embassies in each other's capitals "within days," Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdolakhian said on Friday. Seven years after the two countries terminated their activities, there is a breakthrough in relations. According to the official translation into Arabic, "We have agreed to reopen the Iranian and Saudi Arabian embassies in Tehran and Riyadh in the next few days, during the last phone call between the foreign ministers of Iran and Saudi Arabia on Eid al-Fitr."
