Syrian Regime Forces Seize The Full Control of Al-Maydeen In Deir Ezzor

DAMASCUS , Syria  —  The spokesman for the Syrian Arab Army has announced the full liberation of Al-Mayadeen city from the Islamic State militants . Al-Mayadeen is a city in eastern Syria. It is the capital of the Mayadin District, part of the Deir Ezzor governorate. Mayadin is located about 44 kilometers southeast of Deir Ezzor province . Euphrates River flows through the town . Syrian Arab Army in coordination with pro government forces and Russian aerial support launched vigorous assault on last stronghold of ISIS in Maydeen city , in successful attack large number of Islamic state militants were killed , their weapons and vehicles were destroyed . SANA News Agency has reported while citing the military source that regime forces have fully captured Al-Mayadeen  city as last stronghold of Islamic State in Al-Mayadeen collapsed on Saturday . The liberation of Al-Mayadeen city has paved the way for regime forces to uproot remaining Islamic State terrorists from the Euphrates valley .

Russian Airstrikes Wreak Havoc On Tahrir al-Sham Leadership - Russian Defense Ministry

Written By Shujaat Hussain Abbasi IDLIB , Syria -  At least 12 Tahrir al-Sham field commanders have been killed and their  Prominent  Leader Abu Mohammad al-Julan  sustained multiple injuries in Russian airstrike , the spokesman for Russian defense ministry Major-General Igor Konashenkov said on Tuesday . He added their warplanes launched intelligence based airstrikes in which they targeted Tahrir al-Sham formerly known as Al - Nusra Front meeting venue in which more than 60 terrorists including 12 field commanders and Julani body guards were eliminated and score others were wounded . Local sources of Idlib city said in accurate and timely airstrikes Prominent  Leader Abu Mohammad al-Julan lost his both hands .

Saudi Arabia and Iran will reopen their embassies shortly

  Tehran, IRAN-  Saudi Arabia and Iran will reopen embassies in each other's capitals "within days," Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdolakhian said on Friday. Seven years after the two countries terminated their activities, there is a breakthrough in relations. According to the official translation into Arabic, "We have agreed to reopen the Iranian and Saudi Arabian embassies in Tehran and Riyadh in the next few days, during the last phone call between the foreign ministers of Iran and Saudi Arabia on Eid al-Fitr."
