Egypt — At Least 2 Dozen Islamic State Militants & 6 Egyptian Troops Killed In Sinai

CAIRO , Egypt —  Military and hospital sources had informed the media that as much as 24 Islamic state militants and 6 Egyptian soldiers were killed in violent attack , carried out by the ISIS on Sunday , in north of Sinai . Military spokesman told the media that gruesome attack was launched on security outposts around the Sheikh Zuweid Bedouin town in the North Sinai governorate near the border with the Gaza Strip , in which over hundreds Daeshis participated , they used heavy machine guns , rocket launchers and explosive vehicles to uproot military posts but all their efforts ended up in humiliating defeat .The bloody attack was repelled by the Egyptian forces successfully but it left 6 Egyptian solders dead and 20 injured . Egyptian army used gunship helicopters, heavy machine guns and mortar shell to thwart the attack and eventually they managed to repel the biggest assault of the year local sources said .
