Dozens Of Egyptian Police Officers Killed In Shoot-out With Militants

CAIRO , Egypt  — As much as 35 Egyptian police officers were killed , in gun battle with Hasm militants group , police and medial sources told the media on Friday . Incident took place when Egyptian police launched intelligence based  raids on militants residential areas in El-Wahat el-Bahariya a district in the Giza province , about 135km from Cairo , where 8 members of Hasm militants group were present , in jehadist fleeing efforts brief gun battle erupted , which left 35 police officers dead and 32 injured . An interior ministry statement acknowledged the incident and said some of the terrorists were also killed . Hasm Islamist militant group has been active in Egypt since 2106 , and it has claimed responsibility for several deadly attacks on police , military and prominent judges .

Russian Airstrikes Wreak Havoc On Tahrir al-Sham Leadership - Russian Defense Ministry

He added their warplanes launched intelligence based airstrikes in which they targeted Tahrir al-Sham formerly known as Al - Nusra Front meeting venue in which more than 60 terrorists including 12 field commanders and Julani body guards were eliminated and score others were wounded . Local sources of Idlib city said in accurate and timely airstrikes Prominent  Leader Abu Mohammad al-Julan lost his both hands .

  Tehran, IRAN-  Saudi Arabia and Iran will reopen embassies in each other's capitals "within days," Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdolakhian said on Friday. Seven years after the two countries terminated their activities, there is a breakthrough in relations. According to the official translation into Arabic, "We have agreed to reopen the Iranian and Saudi Arabian embassies in Tehran and Riyadh in the next few days, during the last phone call between the foreign ministers of Iran and Saudi Arabia on Eid al-Fitr."
