Afghanistan — US Airstrikes Eliminate Large Number Of ISIS Sympathetic Militants

KABUL , Afghanistan  —  On Friday ,  the spokesman for Nangarhar police chief told the media while briefing that at least 28 Islamic state militants were killed and scores wounded in airstrikes launched by the US forces in Nangarhar province , located in the eastern part of the country . US forces conducted joint airstrikes on Islamic state hideouts in Acheen, Dor Baba and Haska Mina districts of Nangarhar province . He further  added that terrorists targeted when they were busy in meeting arranged for more potential attacks on government premises .
