Afghan Military Claims To Have Killed More Than 3,000 Insurgents Since March

KABUL , Afghanistan  -  The  press Secretary of Afghan  military media cell said during the press conference that around 3,200 Afghan Taliban militants have been killed , since last 7 months , in north & northeastern zones of Afghanistan . On Monday , Col : Nasratullah Jamshid told the Bakhtar News Agency that in anti terrorists campaign launched by the Afghan military forces in collaboration with Federal police & NATO's air cover managed to kill large number of Taliban militants in different parts of Faryab, Jawzjan, Sar-e-Pul, Balkh, Samangan , Baghlan, Kunduz, Takhar and Badakhshan provinces . He further added that during the anti terrorists operation 3,200 Taliban insurgents includind several field commanders were killed , 2,200 wounded and 457 anti government elements arrested in door to door terrorists search operations Within last 7 months .
