Zhob Bus Accident: 40 Killed In Road Mishap

The bus fell into a deep ravine following a brake failure caused by excessive speed in the Dana Sar area of the Sherani region, located in the Zhob district.

Balochistan police reported that an accident happened on Friday in proximity to the border between Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) and Balochistan.

Eight passengers were rescued alive from the damaged bus, while 40 passengers' corpses were discovered, according to DHQ Zhob and rescue personnel.

President Asif Ali Zardari and the Balochistan government have expressed their sincere sadness and grief regarding the Zhob disaster, conveyed their condolences to the families of the victims, and prayed for the injured to recover promptly.

Train Collision In Spain: 39 Passengers Killed & 122 Injured

Córdoba, Spain -  At least 39 passengers were killed when two trains crashed in Córdoba at around 19:45 on Sunday.  Córdoba is a city in Andalusia, a southern region of Spain, and it is the provincial capital. According to official reports, out of 122 people who received medical care for their injuries, 48, including five children, are still in the hospital. Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has announced three days of mourning and vowed to conduct a "thorough and absolutely transparent" investigation into the incident.  The high-speed train service between Madrid and Andalusia will be halted until at least Friday.  Local media reports that authorities have started up offices in numerous locations where victims' relatives may provide DNA samples to assist in the deceased's identification.
