The bus fell into a deep ravine following a brake failure caused
by excessive speed in the Dana Sar area of the Sherani region, located in the
Zhob district.
Balochistan police reported that an accident happened on Friday
in proximity to the border between Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) and Balochistan.
Eight passengers were rescued alive from the damaged bus, while
40 passengers' corpses were discovered, according to DHQ Zhob and rescue
personnel.
President Asif Ali Zardari and the Balochistan government have
expressed their sincere sadness and grief regarding the Zhob disaster, conveyed
their condolences to the families of the victims, and prayed for the injured to
recover promptly.
