Afghanistan: Minister For Refugees, Khalil Haqqani, killed In suicide Attack

KABUL, Afghanistan — Khalil Haqqani, Afghanistan's minister for refugees, was killed in a suicide bombing in Kabul, Afghan state television said yesterday.

Khalil Haqqani, Minister for Refugees, was killed on Wednesday when an assailant entered the ministry's Kabul headquarters and blew himself up, according to a news report. 

However, the Afghan local news source said that the explosion was a suicide attack and that Khalil-ur-Rehman Haqqani was heading toward the mosque when it happened. 

Jalaluddin Haqqani, the founder of the Haqqani network, has a brother named Khalil-ur-Rehman Haqqani. Sirajuddin Haqqani, the current interior minister, was also his uncle. Anas Haqqani, Khalil-ur-Rehman 

Haqqani's nephew acknowledged the death. 

The Islamic State claimed responsibility for a suicide attack that assassinated Afghanistan's refugee minister in his Kabul office, according to a terrorist watchdog Website.

Russian Airstrikes Wreak Havoc On Tahrir al-Sham Leadership - Russian Defense Ministry

He added their warplanes launched intelligence based airstrikes in which they targeted Tahrir al-Sham formerly known as Al - Nusra Front meeting venue in which more than 60 terrorists including 12 field commanders and Julani body guards were eliminated and score others were wounded . Local sources of Idlib city said in accurate and timely airstrikes Prominent  Leader Abu Mohammad al-Julan lost his both hands .

Saudi Arabia and Iran will reopen their embassies shortly

  Tehran, IRAN-  Saudi Arabia and Iran will reopen embassies in each other's capitals "within days," Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdolakhian said on Friday. Seven years after the two countries terminated their activities, there is a breakthrough in relations. According to the official translation into Arabic, "We have agreed to reopen the Iranian and Saudi Arabian embassies in Tehran and Riyadh in the next few days, during the last phone call between the foreign ministers of Iran and Saudi Arabia on Eid al-Fitr."
